Baidu Health has entered into a partnership with the Fifth People’s Hospital of Chongqing, a Class 3A general hospital in China. The collaboration aims to combine the hospital’s disciplinary and location advantages with Baidu Health’s strengths in online diagnosis, treatment, digitalization, and artificial intelligence (AI) to establish an integrated online-offline medical treatment model. Financial details of the agreement were not disclosed.
Baidu Health is set to assist the hospital in enhancing its online brand presence. Utilizing AI models, Baidu Health will facilitate patient searches, matching them with the hospital’s strong disciplines and doctors, enabling a seamless “one click” medical process from online consultation to offline diagnosis and treatment. The company will also provide digital tools and intelligent solutions to aid doctors in patient management and follow-up, as well as outpatient efficiency improvement solutions to bolster patient convenience.
The partnership plans to jointly organize free clinics both online and offline to extend benefits to more patients. The Fifth People’s Hospital of Chongqing has now joined Baidu Health’s one-stop medical information service app. Baidu Health’s network includes over 70 Class 3A public hospitals across 19 provinces, more than 20 national/provincial regional medical centers, and over 80 national key specialties.- Flcube.com
