Liaoning-Led Alliance Launches Volume-Based Procurement Tender for Hernia and Dural Patches

A 12-strong provincial procurement alliance, spearheaded by Liaoning province, has announced the initiation of a volume-based procurement (VBP) tender round focused on hernia patches, including inguinal and abdominal wall hernia patches, as well as dural (spinal) membrane patches. The alliance includes participants such as Shanxi, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Jilin, Heilongjiang, Hainan, Guizhou, Qinghai, Tibet Autonomous Region, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps.

Procurement Volume and Cycle Details
The intended procurement volume will be 90% of the actual volumes filed by hospitals, with a cycle of two years. This approach ensures a significant commitment to the procurement process and provides a stable forecast for manufacturers. According to the materials, repair sites, and surgical procedures, hernia patches are divided into six groups, with a total intention to purchase 65,215 pieces. The dura mater patch is divided into two groups, with a total intention to purchase 55,134 pieces.

Manufacturer Bidding Groups and Pricing
