Danaher Corporation (NYSE: DHR), a leading science and technology services provider based in the U.S., has inaugurated the first phase of its Danaher Western Innovation Center in the Chongqing Liang Jiang New Area. The new facility, situated in proximity to the Children’s Hospital of Chongqing Medical University, is designed to serve as a multifunctional hub encompassing biopharmaceutical talent development, innovation incubation, product R&D, customer service, technical support, application development, and functional verification, among other roles.
In tandem with this initiative, Danaher has also launched a life sciences research institute in the region, marking its third such institute in China, following the establishment of similar facilities in Shanghai and Guangzhou. The new research hub will focus on advancing spatial omics, genomics, multi-omics innovation research, and clinical efficacy evaluation.
