China Internet giant Baidu’s one-stop health management platform Baidu Health has updated the status of its precision physician-patient matching engine. The platform is designed to empower public Class 3A hospitals and specialty hospitals via big data and artificial intelligence (AI) technology. It allows accurate matching of specialty services in the region, including medical appointments for patients in need.
Platform Achievements
With 20 national medical regional centers connected to the system, alongside more than 80 national key specialty hospitals and 70 provincial key specialty hospitals, Baidu Health has provided precision services for 500,000 users. It has also made hospital appointments for over 50,000 precision patients during the past year.
Content Ecology
In addition, Baidu Health is building a Baidu Health Medical Code-oriented content ecology. It is pooling expert and institution resources to create an authoritative medical and health science popularization platform. The company’s average daily health retrieval volume has reached more than 200 million times. This includes 500 million authoritative health contents, attracting more than 300,000 professional doctors and responding to 2.4 million online medical consultations daily.-Fineline Info & Tech
