Basecare and Rhea Labs Form Five-Year Alliance to Expand IVF Markets Globally

China-based IVF specialist Suzhou Basecare Medical Co., Ltd (HKG: 2170) has entered into a five-year strategic alliance with Singapore’s Rhea Labs Pte. Ltd to jointly expand in vitro fertilization (IVF) markets globally. The partnership aims to leverage both companies’ commercial strengths in the US, Europe, South America, and Southeast Asia, alongside the development of AI-powered IVF clinics.

Collaboration Details
Basecare will provide Rhea Labs with high-quality medical products and comprehensive solutions to support the construction of reproductive institutions, including pre-implantation genetic testing (PGT) labs, embryo labs, urology labs, cryostorage labs, and more. The company will also supply Rhea Labs with assisted reproductive center equipment, such as time-lapse embryo monitoring systems (Geri) and IVF liquid consumables (Gems).

Global Expansion and AI Integration
The two firms will collaborate on brand building in the US, Europe, and Southeast Asia, and jointly develop AI-based new products to drive technological innovation in assisted reproduction.
