On June 20, 2024, the School of Public Health (Shenzhen) of Sun Yat-sen University and KingMed Diagnostics (Guangzhou) signed a cooperation agreement in Guangzhou, marking the beginning of a comprehensive partnership focusing on talent cultivation, scientific research collaboration, and professional practical education.
This strategic alliance will see both parties working together on scientific research in areas such as new infectious disease testing technologies, prevention and treatment of cardiovascular diseases, infectious disease surveillance and early warning systems, and tumor detection. They will also jointly establish postgraduate practical bases for professional degrees, aiming to deepen the integration of education and industry, and to cultivate more high-level applied professionals who possess both profound theoretical knowledge and strong practical capabilities.
