Renji Hospital, a comprehensive Class 3A hospital established in 1844 in Shanghai, has partnered with Singapore’s Raffles Medical Group. The collaboration aims to establish a “dual circulation” service system for medical resources and promote a new model of coordinated development between public hospitals and international medical groups. This initiative is expected to significantly contribute to Shanghai’s goal of becoming an international medical tourism hub.
Partnership Details
Renji Hospital, Shanghai’s first Western hospital, serves 7 million people annually. Raffles Medical Group, a private medical provider, operates a global medical network covering 15 cities, including three hospitals in Shanghai, Chongqing, and Beijing, as well as clinics in five other cities in China.
Service System Innovation
The partnership will launch an international cloud consulting room at Shanghai Raffles Hospital, enabling real-time remote consultations and making high-quality medical resources more accessible. Joint activities will be held irregularly at Raffles Hospital, focusing on Renji’s specialty disciplines, allowing local citizens to access top-tier international diagnostic and treatment services conveniently.-Fineline Info & Tech
