China-based Kossel Medtech (Suzhou) Co., Ltd., a vascular interventional medical device platform company, has entered into a tripartite partnership with the First Affiliated Hospital of Wenzhou Medical University and a device incubation platform. The collaboration focuses on advancing the Cathlink electrode lead guide sheath system (K-Sheath), marking a significant step in the development of innovative medical devices for physiological pacing.
K-Sheath: Innovation in Pacing Technology
The K-Sheath is the first sheath device in China specifically designed for left bundle branch pacing placement. It is the first domestically manufactured sheath capable of physiological pacing and the only one on the market suitable for atrial septum use. The sheath features a hardness gradient design, which effectively enhances surgical safety and precision.
Partnership and Roles
Under the agreement, the First Affiliated Hospital of Wenzhou Medical University will contribute innovative treatment concepts, develop new surgical techniques, and promote academic excellence.
