Bayer’s Consumer Health Division to Invest $83 Million in New Supply Center in China

Bayer (ETR: BAYN)’s Consumer Health Division has entered into an agreement with Qidong city in Jiangsu province to establish a new supply center. The German multinational pharmaceutical company will invest RMB 600 million (USD 83 million) in the initial phase of the project, with the facility expected to become operational by 2028.

Currently, Bayer’s Consumer Health Division operates a strategic supply center in Qidong for oral solid dosage forms (OSD). The new center aims to augment existing production capabilities, offering product supply support for the global health consumer goods business. This includes support for the current domestic market product portfolio, future new product portfolio, and export business.
