Innovative R&D Incentives
The guidelines propose exploring market-oriented salary mechanisms for new research institutions. The Shenzhen Medical Academy of Sciences is empowered to lead reforms in research management, talent recruitment, and funding allocation, aiming to foster a more dynamic research environment.
AI-Medtech Integration
To advance the integration of artificial intelligence and medical technology, the document calls for the establishment of regulatory frameworks for AI-assisted medical devices. This includes developing standards for data collection, interoperability, and compliant use under safety protocols.
Regulatory Modernization
Efforts will be accelerated to reform the review and approval processes for drugs and medical devices. Enhancements in port inspection capabilities will be pursued. The document also emphasizes streamlining access to clinically urgent imported drugs and equipment.
