Singapore-based Raffles Medical Group, a leading integrated healthcare provider with a broad presence in Asia, announced a strategic partnership with China’s First Affiliate Hospital of Chongqing Medical University (CQMU First Hospital), a Class 3 comprehensive teaching hospital. This collaboration aims to integrate international expertise with local strengths to enhance Chongqing’s healthcare service capabilities.
Collaboration Framework
The partnership will be implemented at three levels: group, hospital, and specialty. It includes the establishment of a high-level strategic cooperation platform to facilitate exchanges of medical, nursing, technical, pharmaceutical, and administrative personnel. Medical Consortium Development
The two parties will build a tightly integrated medical consortium to advance the rational allocation of healthcare resources. This will be achieved through specialty collaboration, talent exchange and training, equipment sharing, mutual recognition of medical tests, and two-way referrals, all aimed at elevating Chongqing’s overall healthcare service capacity.
Specialty Alliances and Collaborative Development
Key specialty alliances will be upgraded to foster homogeneous development of medical technologies. The partnership will leverage Raffles’ international service philosophy, advanced management models, extensive cross-border direct billing insurance network, and global medical resources.
