Shan Guohong, Global Senior Vice President of Takeda Pharmaceutical (TYO: 4502) and President of Takeda China, is reportedly leaving his position to join BeOne Medicines Ltd. (NASDAQ: ONC, HKG: 6160, SHA: 688235) as his next career move.
Shan Guohong’s Tenure at Takeda
Shan Guohong has been President of Takeda China since September 18, 2017, overseeing the company’s overall strategy and business growth in China, including Hong Kong and Macau. He was also a member of Takeda’s Leadership Committee for Growth & Emerging Markets.
Previous Roles and Achievements
Prior to Takeda, Shan held senior management roles at Pfizer China and AstraZeneca China. He served as General Manager of Innovation Healthcare at Pfizer China and Vice President of AstraZeneca China. He was also a member of Pfizer’s Global Oncology Committee and AstraZeneca’s Global Respiratory Brand Committee.
