Beijing has unveiled an ambitious plan to construct Bio-Park, a state-of-the-art international pharmaceutical innovation park located in Beijing E-Town, during the Boao Forum for Asia. The initiative aims to establish a hub for high-energy innovation resources, support the development of high-value innovative products, and foster an efficient innovation ecosystem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Bio Park is designed to become a leading and gathering area for international pharmaceutical innovation resources, with the goal of becoming a pharmaceutical innovation center that radiates and drives the development of southern Beijing and connects with global innovation resources. The park will focus on future health frontiers, including quantitative synthetic biotechnology, next-generation high-throughput sequencing technology, and therapeutic gene editing technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
To achieve this vision, Bio Park will attract strategic scientists, world-class technology leaders, and innovative teams from around the world. It will also support foreign-funded enterprises in forming innovation consortia with domestic and foreign research institutes, encouraging various “on-site cultivation and international output” industry-education integration bases to settle in the area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
