Founder and CEO Backgrounds<\/strong>
Sun Junwei is a co-founder of Spark Therapeutics, a University of Pennsylvania spinout that developed Luxturna (voretigene neparvovec), the first-ever FDA-approved gene therapy now marketed by Roche in the US and Novartis globally. Dr. Zhou Shangzhen also played a key role in creating Zolgensma (onasemnogene abeparvovec), the second FDA-approved gene therapy and a Novartis product for spinal muscular atrophy.
