(NASDAQ: FSTX), and Japan-based Takeda Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/finance\/quote\/4502:TYO\">TYO: 4502<\/a>). The deal provides Takeda with a next-generation tumor immunotherapy bispecific antibody (BsAb), with the specific target or other molecule details undisclosed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Terms of the Licensing Agreement<\/strong><br>Under the terms of the agreement, F-star will receive a license fee and grant Takeda an exclusive global license to research, develop, and commercialize a BsAb cancer immunotherapy using F-star&#8217;s proprietary Fcab and mAb2 platforms. Takeda will be responsible for all research, development, and commercialization activities. While upfront and milestone payments were not disclosed, F-star will also receive royalties on any future net sales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>History of Collaboration<\/strong><br>This is the second option exercised by Takeda under an evaluation and license agreement entered into with F-star in July 2021. The two companies previously entered into a license agreement for another BsAb in July 2022, highlighting their ongoing collaboration in the field of cancer immunotherapy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>About F-star Therapeutics<\/strong><br>F-star is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on the development of next-generation tumor immunotherapies.
