Germany-based Sanner Group, a specialist in medical devices and pharma packaging, has announced plans to open a second manufacturing facility in China. This expansion comes alongside the existing facility in Kunshan, Jiangsu Province, and follows the groundbreaking for a new global headquarters and production site in Germany.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

China Facility Details<\/strong>
Construction at the China site is set to begin in the summer of 2023. The new facility will add 4,000 square meters of production space, including class D clean rooms for GMP-compliant production of pharma and medical device packaging solutions. The site will also include warehousing and office space. Once completed, the new facility is expected to increase local production capacity by approximately 80%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Ralf Tiemann, Sanner\u2019s Asia-Pacific CEO, the expansion will significantly enhance Sanner\u2019s Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) service capabilities, particularly for medical device firms.
