China-based Hansoh Pharmaceutical Group Co., Ltd (HKG: 3692<\/a>) announced a licensing agreement with South Korea\u2019s TiumBio Co., Ltd (KOSDAQ: 321550<\/a>), securing exclusive development, regulatory filing, and commercialization rights to TiumBio\u2019s drug candidate TU2670 in Greater China, including Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Agreement Details<\/strong>
Under the agreement, Hansoh has the rights to develop and commercialize TU2670 for the treatment of endometriosis, fibroids, and other potential indications. TiumBio will receive a USD4.5 million upfront payment, a USD1.5 million technology transfer fee, and up to USD164 million in potential milestone payments, along with tiered royalties based on net sales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Drug Profile<\/strong>
TU2670 is an oral non-peptide GnRH receptor antagonist that has shown a favorable safety and tolerability profile in early clinical trials.
