Beijing InnoCare Pharma (HKG: 9969<\/a>) announced that it has received clinical trial approval from the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) for its targeted protein degrader ICP-490. Drug Profile<\/strong>
ICP-490, developed through InnoCare\u2019s molecular glue platform, works by inducing the ubiquitination and degradation of the lymphatic transcription factors Ikaros and Aiolos. It does this by specifically binding to the substrate receptor CRBN of the CRL4CRBN-E3 ubiquitin ligase complex. This process leads to the induction of apoptosis and inhibits the survival and proliferation of tumor cells.
