Understanding Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension<\/strong>
Pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) is a rare, progressive, and life-threatening vascular disease caused by multiple factors. It is characterized by excessive proliferation of pulmonary artery wall cells, leading to pulmonary artery stenosis and abnormal contraction. This ultimately results in the constriction of pulmonary arterioles and elevated blood pressure in the pulmonary circulation.
