China-based Ascletis Pharma Inc. (HKG: 1672<\/a>) has announced the appointment of Mr. John P. Gargiulo as its new Chief Business Officer (CBO). Formerly the North America President and CEO for Daiichi Sankyo, Gargiulo will lead Ascletis’s corporate business development and alliance management, reporting to Dr. Jinzi J. Wu, PhD, founder, chairman, and CEO of Ascletis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gargiulo’s Experience and Background<\/strong>
Gargiulo brings over 30 years of successful experience in marketing strategies, business integration, and commercial operations in the global pharma\/biotech industry. During his 18-year tenure at Daiichi Sankyo, he played a transformative role in driving the company\u2019s US business from its initial stages to becoming an established pharma entity. His leadership as North America President and CEO was instrumental in this growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
