The partnership focuses on evaluating the therapeutic potential of HighTide&#8217;s core product, HTD1801, for the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus with chronic kidney disease (CKD with T2DM).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>HTD1801 Mechanism<\/strong><br>HTD1801, HighTide\u2019s lead drug candidate, is a first-in-class orally delivered, gut-liver anti-inflammatory metabolic modulator. It uniquely activates AMPK and inhibits the NLRP3 inflammasome, offering a dual mechanism of action. This collaboration combines IMB\u2019s resources in drug research and medical science with HighTide\u2019s expertise in metabolic disease product development to accelerate clinical advancements and enhance therapeutic applications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Collaboration Goals<\/strong><br>The collaboration aims to leverage IMB\u2019s resource advantages and HighTide\u2019s core competencies to develop innovative therapeutics for glyco-renal metabolic-related diseases.
