This marks a significant milestone for the Chinese pharmaceutical firm, which now leads in securing US marketing rights for this crucial drug.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Abraxane, initially approved in the US in 2005 and registered in the EU, Japan, and other regions, is a lifeline for patients with metastatic breast cancer who have failed chemotherapy or relapsed within six months post-adjuvant chemotherapy. Hengrui Med\u2019s generic version, approved in China in August 2018, offers an affordable alternative for these patients.
