The report outlined key focuses for the biomedicine sector, emphasizing the acceleration of innovation to stimulate economic recovery. This includes advancements in cutting-edge fields such as hydrogen energy, new materials, and innovative drugs, as well as the cultivation of new growth engines in biological manufacturing, commercial aerospace, and the low-altitude economy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The report also detailed plans to deepen reforms in social and livelihood sectors, including income distribution, social security, healthcare, and elderly care services. The government’s ongoing efforts in the prevention and control of key infectious diseases were highlighted, with an increase in the per capita financial subsidy standard for resident medical insurance by RMB 30. The report pledged continued coordinated development and governance across medical insurance, healthcare, and medicine sectors. This includes provincial-level coordination of Basic Medical Insurance (BMI) schemes, improvements to the national centralized drug procurement system, strengthened supervision of medical insurance fund usage, and measures to facilitate insured medical treatment for patients outside their home province.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
