Amgen (NASDAQ: AMGN<\/a>) has entered into a licensing agreement with Xeris Biopharma (NASDAQ: XERS<\/a>) for the XeriJect drug delivery technology, aimed at developing, manufacturing, and commercializing a subcutaneous formulation of its orphan drug Tepezza (teprotumumab). The XeriJect suspensions enable concentrations exceeding 400 mg\/ml, which helps to reduce injection volumes, lessen treatment burden, and enhance patient adherence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of the agreement, Xeris is set to receive up to $75 million in development and regulatory milestone payments, along with potential additional sales milestone payments and royalties.
