Sino Medical Sciences Technology Inc. (SHA: 688108), a China-based medical device company, has announced that it has received market approvals in Taiwan, India, and Uzbekistan for its SC HONKYTONK coronary artery balloon dilation catheter, NC Rockstar non-compliant coronary artery balloon dilation catheter, and HT Supreme drug-eluting stent system.
The NC Rockstar catheter, which is designed for non-compliant balloon dilation, is now registered in India and Uzbekistan, adding to its existing approvals in China, the United States, Thailand, Hong Kong, and Taiwan.
The SC HONKYTONK catheter, now available in all three newly approved markets, is intended for the dilation of narrow lesions or as a pre-dilation step before percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) stent implantation. It has already received marketing approval in China, the US, and Thailand.
