Zylox-Tonbridge Medical Technology (HKG: 2190), a developer of nerve and peripheral vascular interventional devices based in China, has announced that it has received marketing approval from the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) for its in-house developed ZENFLOW T18 peripheral balloon dilation catheter. The ZENFLOW T18 is a conical balloon designed for percutaneous transluminal angioplasty (PTA) in the peripheral vascular system.
The catheter’s structural design is engineered to better adapt to variations in vascular tapering, reducing the risk of excessive dilation and damage to vascular walls. It aims to decrease the incidence of dissection and enhance the treatment efficacy in lower limb arteries. The non-invasive conical head end of the catheter is equipped with a guide wire for blood vessel protection, and the platinum iridium alloy used provides clear imaging.
