Johnson & Johnson MedTech Launches CPX4 PLUS Tissue Expander for Breast Reconstruction in China

Johnson & Johnson (J&J, NYSE: JNJ) MedTech, a leading healthcare conglomerate in the US, has announced the official market launch of its CPX4 PLUS tissue expander in China. This marks the introduction of the first breast tissue-specific expander in the country, designed to benefit a greater number of breast cancer patients in need of reconstructive surgery.

The CPX4 PLUS tissue expander represents an innovative advancement in breast reconstruction surgery. The device works by implanting a tissue expander beneath the soft tissue of the normal skin near the area of breast resection. Through the use of magnetic positioning, physiological saline is intermittently injected into the expander to gradually increase its volume, thereby expanding the skin area. Once the expander is removed, the newly acquired skin soft tissue can be utilized to perform breast reconstruction, creating a capsule that aids in the post-mastectomy recovery process.- Flcube.com
