Shenzhen-based medtech company Mindray has announced a procurement agreement with WakeMed Health & Hospitals in North Carolina, USA, for its patient monitoring systems. Under the terms of the deal, WakeMed will implement Mindray’s BeneVision Distributed Monitoring System (DMS) and BeneVision N-Series Patient Monitoring Systems across three of its hospitals.
The BeneVision N-Series features six monitors designed to provide clinicians with immediate access to relevant data, marking it as the first patient monitoring platform to employ capacitive touch screen technology, thereby enhancing physician efficiency. The BeneVision DMS offers continuous, real-time access to patient information across both large and small healthcare networks, integrating data from networked bedside monitors, vital signs monitors, wireless transport solutions, and telemetry transmitters.
WakeMed plans to install approximately 2,300 monitoring devices in its emergency and inpatient care areas, supporting its operations across 970 beds in three key hospitals.- Flcube.com
