China-based conglomerate Shanghai Fosun High Technology (Group) Co., Ltd has entered into a partnership with the National Innovation Center par Excellence (NICE), a comprehensive national technology innovation center approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST). This collaboration aims to strengthen production, education, and research ties between the entities.
Establishment of Joint Innovation Centers
In line with the agreement, Fosun’s member companies, Fosun Kite Biotechnology Co., Ltd and Henlius (HKG: 2696), have established the “NICE Fosun Kite Joint Innovation Center” and “NICE Henlius Joint Innovation Center” with NICE. These centers will concentrate on CAR-T cell therapy, new drug development, clinical diagnosis and treatment, and biomedical research, among other critical areas in the medical field.

NICE is anchored in partnerships with institutions across Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Anhui provinces.
