Acotec Scientific’s Vericor-14 Microcatheter Receives NMPA Approval for Vascular Surgeries

China-based Acotec Scientific Holdings Ltd (HKG: 6669) has announced receiving marketing approval from the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) for its Vericor-14 microcatheter. The product is now approved for use in percutaneous intervention surgery of coronary arteries and peripheral blood vessels, providing targeted access to the lesion site of narrow blood vessels, guiding guide wires, and offering channels for exchanging guide wires and delivering physiological saline or diagnostic contrast agents.

Features and Benefits of Vericor-14 Microcatheter
The Vericor-14 microcatheter is distinguished by its extremely soft and tapered tip, with a very small outer diameter of 1.8Fr at the tip and a distal tube outer diameter of 1.9Fr. The product’s design enhances its ability to navigate through small blood vessels and narrow lesions. The super smooth coating significantly improves the product’s passage through various vessels without damaging the blood vessels, allowing it to effectively traverse high stenosis and chronic total occlusion (CTO) lesions.-Fineline Info & Tech
