HSK38008: An Androgen Mutant AR-V7 Oral Degradation Agent
HSK38008 is an androgen mutant AR-V7 oral degradation agent that has the capability to degrade the splicing variant of the androgen receptor through the proteasome pathway. By blocking the transmission of the androgen receptor signal pathway, HSK38008 inhibits the growth and proliferation of prostate cancer cells. This novel approach offers a potential new treatment option for patients with prostate cancer.
Preclinical Efficacy and Comparison with Other Drugs
In preclinical studies using the AR-V7 mutated 22RV1 castrated mouse transplanted tumor model, HSK38008 demonstrated dose-dependent inhibition of tumor growth. The drug showed significantly better efficacy compared to the AR PROTAC drug ARV-110 and the AR inhibitor enzalutamide.
