The Boao Lecheng Medical Tourism Pilot Zone in Hainan Province has announced a strategic partnership with the Eye Valley in Wenzhou. Establishing Innovation Platforms and Talent Acquisition
As part of the agreement, the two entities will establish five scientific and technological innovation platforms and operation and service centers dedicated to “visual optics, biomaterials, innovative drugs, electronic devices, and intelligent diagnosis and treatment.” The partnership also aims to introduce various high-level talents to create a prominent industrial cluster for eye and brain health innovation and transformation.
Leveraging Resources for Medical and Industrial Transformation
The collaboration will leverage the “first pilot first trial” policy and clinical resources available in Lecheng, alongside Eye Valley’s strengths in optometry, ophthalmology brands, resources, and scientific research. Together, they will work on establishing the medical and industrial transformation platform in Lecheng, which includes the creation of the China Eye Valley (Hainan) and the Hainan Lecheng Real World Research Institute.

The Lecheng Medical Industry Transformation Platform, recognized as the first public platform for medical technology innovation in Lecheng, is designed to facilitate the in-depth collaboration and development of domestic and foreign medical resources, scientific research products, and social capital based on clinical needs.
