China-based biotech Zai Lab Ltd (NASDAQ: ZLAB, HKG: 9688) announced that the supplemental New Drug Application (sNDA) for its Augtyro (repotrectinib) has been accepted for review by China’s National Medical Products Administration (NMPA). The application targets adult patients with NTRK gene fusion-positive solid tumors that are locally advanced or metastatic, or where surgical resection is likely to result in severe morbidity. This includes patients who have progressed following prior therapies or have no satisfactory alternative treatment options.

Augtyro, also known as repotrectinib, is a next-generation tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI) targeting ROS1 and NTRK oncogenic drivers.
