The National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) has released a notification regarding the initiation of two electronic certificates: the “Certificate for Exporting APIs to the EU” and the “Exporting Certificate of a Pharmaceutical Product.” These certificates aim to streamline the export process and enhance regulatory compliance.
Details of the Certificates
- The electronic certificates, which will be initiated as of December 1, 2022, have the same legal effect as their paper counterparts.
- A new template for the “Exporting Certificate of a Pharmaceutical Product” will also be used starting December 1, 2022.
- Applicants are required to log on to the NMPA website at https://zwfw.nmpa.gov.cn/web/index with real-name authentication to access and utilize these electronic certificates.-Fineline Info & Tech
