China-based Ping An Healthcare and Technology Co., Ltd (HKG: 1833), also known as Ping An Good Doctor, released its 2024 financial report. The company recorded RMB 4.8 billion (USD 664 million) in revenues, marking a 2.9% year-on-year (YOY) increase. Notably, Ping An Healthcare achieved a significant turnaround by posting RMB88.32 million (USD12.2 million) in net profits, moving from deficits to profitability.
Segment Performance
The financial customer (F-end) and business customer (B-end) segments drove revenue growth, increasing sales by 9.6% and 32.7% YOY, respectively. F-end sales reached RMB2.417 billion (USD334 million), while B-end sales amounted to RMB1.432 billion (USD198 million). The cumulative number of B-end service enterprise customers grew by 35.9% YOY to 2049.
Family Doctor Service Upgrade
Ping An Healthcare’s family doctor membership service brand, “Ping An Family Doctor,” saw substantial growth. The service now boasts over 14 million members, with an average annual usage frequency of 5 times per person and a proactive service coverage rate of 100%.
Medical Network Expansion
As of the reporting period, the company had approximately 50,000 internal and external doctors covering 29 departments, including over 2,900 contracted expert doctors and nearly 4,000 partner hospitals. The total number of cooperative health service providers reached about 105,000, alongside 235,000 partner pharmacies and over 150 partner elderly care service providers.
AI-Driven Efficiency
Leveraging artificial intelligence (AI), Ping An Healthcare achieved 100% coverage of AI medical examination report interpretation with a 98% accuracy rate. The accuracy of medical document real-time parsing exceeded 90%, while auxiliary consultation and intelligent recommendation accuracies reached 95% and 99%, respectively.
