The Hebei provincial Healthcare Security Administration (HSA) bureau has released a draft set of Measures titled “Hebei ‘Internet+’ Medical Service, Medical Insurance Management Measures,” which are now in effect and open for public comment until March 31, 2024. The document outlines the process for Internet medical institutions conducting “Internet +” medical services to apply for medical insurance coverage through their affiliated physical medical institutions after three months of official operation, making them eligible to sign the “Internet +” supplementary medical insurance agreement if they meet the criteria. Institutions that are not designated as part of the public insurance system can also apply for inclusion as a designated medical insurance institution concurrently.
To qualify for the “Internet+” medical service supplementary medical insurance agreement, medical institutions must satisfy seven conditions: ① Connect to the national unified medical insurance information platform; ② Exchange data with the national platform; ③ Use medical insurance codes for real-name authentication to verify the identity of insured individuals; ④ Retain all electronic medical records, prescriptions, and medication purchase records for full traceability; ⑤ Verify patient follow-up status and necessary medical information; ⑥ Distinguish between conventional offline and “Internet +” medical services in their information systems. The evaluation period is capped at three months from the date of filing acceptance, with a five-working-day grace period for supplementary material submission if the initial application is incomplete.
The document also encourages medical institutions at all levels to expedite the construction of information systems, enhance the application of outsourcing prescription circulation modules, and facilitate the flow of “Internet+” medical referral prescriptions.- Flcube.com
