China-based digital health solutions provider Luca Healthcare has announced a strategic partnership and license agreement with UK firm Cambridge Cognition. Under the agreement, Luca has secured a 10-year exclusive license to commercialize Cambridge Cognition’s suite of cognitive assessment tools in mainland China. Partnership Details
The deal includes Cambridge Cognition’s CANTAB suite of tools, which enable sensitive and objective measures of cognitive function, including working memory, learning, executive function, visual, verbal, and episodic memory. These assessments are language-independent, with instructions already translated into Chinese, making them accessible to a broader audience in China. The tools can be used to detect early signs of neurodegenerative diseases such as dementia.

Luca Healthcare plans to make the CANTAB suite available in China via its LucaPlex platform, targeting pharmaceutical and commercial partners.
