This product is for the dietary management of people with Crohn’s Disease. The release indicates the implementation of a policy. The policy allows designated medical institutions within the Bo’ao Lecheng International Medical Tourism Pilot Zone to temporarily import a small amount of rare disease Food for Special Medical Purpose (FSMP). It also allows the import of a small amount of specific full-nutrition FSMP and moderate health food that have been legally listed overseas.
Importing Institutions
The products were imported by Ruijin-Hainan Hospital of Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine and Hainan Boao Research Hospital. This move is expected to provide more options for the dietary management of Crohn’s Disease patients in China.
